Since I am subject to a “Stay Home/Stay Safe” order by the GREAT State of Michigan, and the weather is typical Michigan weather; decent one moment, shitty the next! AND, all State Parks/Land are closed, which influenced the closest off-road vehicle park to close as well!!!
What to do with some extra time? Build the plastic Jeep model that I have had sitting on a shelf for years!!!
I have the Tamiya Jeep Willys 1/4 Ton 4X4 Hobby Model Kit of the “Original” WWII Jeep. Who doesn’t appreciate a good representation of the Original Jeep?
Since it’s been about 25 years since I have built a plastic model, I needed all of the necessary supplies. I purchased the 9160 Testors Plastic Model Car Finishing Set for aircraft/military,Enamel Paints,Cement and the Testors Camo Flat Enamel Paint Set
to complete the build.
I organized the contents of the 9160 Testors Plastic Model Car Finishing Set for aircraft/military,Enamel Paints,Cement
and Testors Camo Flat Enamel Paint Set
in the Testor Corp. MM Empty Paint Storage System
.
I looked into getting a paint shaker prior to starting this build, however the cost seemed a bit steep!
I opted for a less costly solution, a DEWALT DWHT83158 Medium Trigger Clamp with 12 inch Bar 2pk taped to the end of a reciprocating saw blade. Put it on the end of your reciprocating saw, and mix away!!!
I will post my progress on the Tamiya Jeep Willys 1/4 Ton 4X4 Hobby Model Kit in the coming days, as we live thru the COVID-19 pandemic!!!
